Fiona George of FG Photography is a fantastic Wedding and Portrait Photographer who I would thoroughly recommend especially if you are looking for more reportage/relaxed style photographs.

Fiona came highly recommended to me by my sister Gemma, they used to work together and Gemma always spoke very highly of Fiona's work.

So, I decided to book Fiona as the photographer for my Wedding as it is always a good idea to use someone that has been recommended to you, especially when it comes to something as important as your Wedding photographs!

Fiona visited me at home a few months before my Wedding and together we compiled a list of important shots that I definitely wanted to include such as my Bridesmaids together and individually, me with my sisters, Charlie and I with my Parents and Grandparents etc.

This took care of the traditional shots that I wanted but my sister had told me that Fiona is a superb reportage photographer too. So I wanted to leave the rest entirely to Fiona to catch natural shots of our family, guests and ourselves as we were enjoying the day. Neither Charlie or myself were very keen on having to 'pose' for the camera too much so we thought this would be a more relaxed way of doing things!

When we returned from Honeymoon Fiona sent our photographs through on a disk for us to view and we were  really pleased with the results. There was a perfect mix of traditional and reportage shots, colour and black and white shots, but also things that I didn't expect such as close up pictures of my table decorations, arrival drinks and Champagne Fountain taken from obscure angles.

These kind of pictures are lovely to have to look back on so you can remember those little things about your special day that may otherwise get forgotten. Had I have used a less experienced Wedding Photographer they may not have had the imagination to take these kind of shots.
